  • Multiple Trees in Same Location
  • Trees Most in Need

Please note: trees are most vulnerable and in need of stewardship in their first two years.

If you see a dead or damaged tree, please report it to NYC Parks’ forestry service request system.

*A note about our tree data: much of our data on older trees comes from the 2005-2006 Tree Census. In the census process, volunteers were asked to describe the tree locations in relation to a street address. When this information was translated by a computer into points on a map, locational inaccuracies were introduced. The Parks Department asks that if you see inaccuracies, you report them so they can be corrected.
