MillionTreesNYC needs your help to keep the trees we’ve planted healthy and green! Our Tree Care map will help you locate street trees (over 625,000 of them!), record your care, and earn points and badges! Check out the red dots to find young trees that need a little extra "TreeLC," and remember, every little bit helps!

Please zoom in further to view trees.
Key:
  • Tree
  • Adopted Tree
  • Your Tree
  • Multiple Trees in Same Location
  • Trees Most in Need

Please note: trees are most vulnerable and in need of stewardship in their first two years.

If you see a dead or damaged tree, please report it to NYC Parks’ forestry service request system.

*A note about our tree data: much of our data on older trees comes from the 2005-2006 Tree Census. In the census process, volunteers were asked to describe the tree locations in relation to a street address. When this information was translated by a computer into points on a map, locational inaccuracies were introduced. The Parks Department asks that if you see inaccuracies, you report them so they can be corrected.
